#CTC389 CASE Annual Catalogue Bundle

CASE a bundle from the Annual Catalogue:

I've chosen a card from the bundle on the top left of Page 162, although used the bundle below it to create my card.

In lieu of the stamped images, I've adhered a torn off strip of Tea Boutique DSP to a panel of Basic White cardstock and trimmed it into three panels. I've then distressed all the edges and added them to a panel of Basic White which had been embossed using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I have wrapped Baker's Twine around and held it at the back with tape. This panel was adhered to a base of Thick Basic White cardstock.

My cup was cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock using the Teacup Dies and the top layer from Basic White using the same dies. I've stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow onto Basic White and diecut them out again using the Teacup Dies. This has been added to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I've added a Baker's Twine bow beside it.

The greeting is from Go To Greetings, stamped in Mossy Meadow ink onto Basic White cardstock. After trimming, I've dropped each edge gently onto the Mossy Meadow ink pad to help frame it against the white background.

I'm really pleased I bought this set, as it's had a lot more use than many of my other bundles.

What bundle will you CASE? We would love to see you join the group and add your project to our Facebook page using the link over on the right before next Sunday evening.

Next up we have our lovely friend Julia and her stunning card using one of my favourite  current DSP's:

#CTC376 CASE Mini Catalogue

CASE the new July-December Mini Catalogue:

I've turned to Page 54 and used the layout with the apple card on the right:

Onto a base of Soft Sea Foam I've added a strip of Tea Boutique DSP at an angle. Next I've used a Teacup stamp from Cup of Tea together with Smokey Slate ink and cardstock to stamp the image all over for the background. In hindsight the original looks like it may have been stamped off, but I didn't mind the heavier images.

I embossed a scrap of Soft Sea Foam cardstock with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder and diecut a circle from it using a Layering Circles die which I glued onto the stamped background. The teacup was diecut with the Teacup Dies from another sheet of Tea Boutique DSP and added to the embossed circle. The greeting from Cup of Tea was masked off and stamped with Orchid Oasis ink onto a strip of Basic White cardstock and popped into place.

A relatively easy layout to replicate but quite different from the original.

Just because you don't have product from the new catalogue on hand, doesn't mean you can't join us in CASEing the Catty Sunday challenge this week. Make your card and post it to our Facebook page using the link over on the right before next Sunday evening.

Next on the hop we have our friend Rebecca and her pretty pastel card:

#CTC372 CASE the All Occasions Section

CASE the All Occasions Section - Pages 12-45 of the Annual Catalogue:

I opened my catalogue at Page 12 and stayed there for today's challenge using the card top right as my inspiration:

I've used the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes for customer Thank You cards. I also wanted to show off some of the new in-colours. I've diecut the rectangle shape out of Basic White cardstock using the Rectangles Stitched Dies and set my Stamparatus up with the flowers and leaves from Cup of Tea. Parakeet Party ink was used for the leaves and I switched Tahitian Tide out out for Mango Melody to use for the flowers.

I've diecut the teacup from the Teacup Dies out of Sweet Sorbet and stamped the greeting from the same stamp set in Starry Sky. I've also stamped the little tea tag in Orchid Oasis and diecut it with the matching Teacup Dies shape. I've attached a little piece of Linen Thread to the back of the tag and then to the back of the cup before adhering it to my foliage on the rectangle diecut and attached it to the Tea Boutique Card base.

This set of cards is just stunning only outdone by the co-ordinating envelopes already decorated for your use.

I did some in each of the five colours, but unfortunately sent them out before I remembered to take a photo.

We hope you can play along with the challenge this week. Remember you don't have to have the exact same stamp sets, that's what CASEing is all about - copying and selectively editing. Be sure to post your project to our Facebook page using the link over on the right before next Sunday evening.

Next on the hop we have Lauren and I can't wait to see what inspired her this week:
