#CTC314 Favourite Retiring Punch

Welcome to our blog hop for #CTC314 - CASEing a Retiring Punch Project from the annual catalogue:

I've used the Butterfly Duet Punch and CASEd the card on the top left of Page 16:

Onto a base of Thick Basic White, I've added a piece of Hydrangea Hill DSP.

On a piece of Basic White, I've Gold heat embossed the rose leaf image from Rooted in Nature randomly and attached a strip of Purple Posy Scalloped Linen Ribbon before adhering it to the card. Using Butterfly Wishes I've stamped butterflies in Pretty Peacock onto Whisper White and punched them out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. Also using Pretty Peacock ink I've stamped a greeting from Butterfly Gala onto a scrap of Rococo Rose cardstock and adhered the bottom with glue and the top half with Stampin' Dimensionals. The butterflies were added with Stampin' Dimensionals as well.

Angle shot with the sun catching the embossing:

Simba is having a quiet day after a seizure yesterday. Not the first, but they wipe him out so he wasn't protesting at photos today.

We look forward to having you play along with the crew. Post your project to our Facebook page using the link over on the right.

Until then, please continue on the hop to our lovely friend Rebecca:

Social Stamping - Out of the Box

Kelly Kent's Social Stamping Covid Blog Hop theme is Out of the Box this week and it certainly had us all thinking hard. I started down the track of using new product - as in getting it out of the box, and I've combined that with making a Pop Up Box card. Again that seems appropriate given the last one I made was for my demonstration in Perth last November.

I've used a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock for my box and mats of Whisper White with Flirty Flamingo as the feature panels on the top half and Cinnamon Cider for the bottom half.

The greeting is from Butterfly Gala in Black Memento ink on Whisper White - chopped up and the edges were run across the ink pad to frame them.

The little paw print is from the Pets Dies and I've used the negative so that I just had one paw, not the three the die cuts (although I thought after a circle punch would have been another option).

Next task was lots of fussy cutting from the Playful Pets DSP.

To carry on with the theme, the big grumpy cat in the background is sitting on a box made from a scrap of Basic Gray cardstock,

The Flirty Flamingo cardstock was run through the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. I'm loving the texture this folder gives!

If you've ever owned a cat - you know they can have several personalities, and I love the look captured on this evil little black cat!

Next up we have my lovely CASEing the Catty crew friend, Siobhan:

Thanks again Kelly - for the chance to social stamp and for stretching our imagination x

#CTC261 - CASE Sale-A-Bration Catalogue

I know, it's been a while, but great to be back as the crew are now CASEing for two weeks in a row to help you get inspired to join in! This is the 2nd week for week CASEing the Sale-A-Bration catalogue

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, text

I've chosen the image on the left of Page 13:

Loosely translated, you can see I've swapped out the flower punched items for butterflies, using the Butterfly Duet Punch, and the stamped images courtesy of Butterfly Gala stamp set and Seaside Spray Ink pad. A thick Whisper White cardstock base, and scraps of cardstock to make the strip along the bottom.

My lovely assistant Simba is too hot and bothered to care, but Let It Ride stamp set and Rich Razzleberry Ink along with the Stitched Shapes dies have added the finishing touches along with a little Rose Metallic Thread:

A little closer for the detail:

Next up please visit the lovely Tina Gillespie and her amazing project:

Hopefully now you've got a little extra time, you'll be tempted to join us!! Click on the link over on the right when you've created your project and taken a pic!

#CTC240 Everyday Occasions

Head to the catalogue and choose anything to CASE from Page 12 through 71

No photo description available.

I found this butterfly card on page 34:

I cut 3 strips of Whisper White cardstock 1 1/2" wide and punched one end with the Everyday Label punch. I took the tiny solid butterfly image from Butterfly Gala and using Highland Heather ink I stamped 3 times before reinking the image - for those of you waiting to get your hands on Purple Posy - the last time is a very close match.

These panels were then embossed using the Country Floral 3D folder and attached to my base card of Thick Whisper White using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I've cut Pretty Peacock butterflies with the Butterfly. Beauty dies and added them along with a greeting from Varied Vases.

We hope you'll play along and add your photo to our Facebook page using the link over to the right. Next on our hop you'll find Siobhan has some cuties to share:
