I found this butterfly card on page 34:
I cut 3 strips of Whisper White cardstock 1 1/2" wide and punched one end with the Everyday Label punch. I took the tiny solid butterfly image from Butterfly Gala and using Highland Heather ink I stamped 3 times before reinking the image - for those of you waiting to get your hands on Purple Posy - the last time is a very close match.
These panels were then embossed using the Country Floral 3D folder and attached to my base card of Thick Whisper White using Stampin' Dimensionals. I've cut Pretty Peacock butterflies with the Butterfly. Beauty dies and added them along with a greeting from Varied Vases.
We hope you'll play along and add your photo to our Facebook page using the link over to the right. Next on our hop you'll find Siobhan has some cuties to share:
love the effect of stamping before embossing, looks great Sandra
ReplyDeleteSo so pretty. Love the triple tones. Gorgeous card. The butterflies are lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove the tripling of the panels from the inspiration card, Sandra. This is such a pretty colour combination, I love the effect of the stamping off of the Highland Heather.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea of doing three panels with the smaller butterflies. The embossing really adds to the stamped images.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Even better than the one in the catty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Sandra, I love how you've stamped the butterflies before embossing them. These colours look so good together, is there any colour that Pretty Peacock doesn't go with lol
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, this turned out so beautifully, the stamping and embossing comes together so well.
ReplyDeleteI love the embossed panels. And the butterflies look great in Pretty Peacock.
