Back from having a lovely family holiday to join the team as they CASe from the Sale-a-bration catalogues:
I've taken inspiration from the Rooster image cards on page 11:
I liked the colour combo and chose Soft Suede and Tranquil Tide. I opted to not use the embossing folder on my Wood Textures DSP and instead mounted it on Tranquil Tide then added a thin strip of Copper Foil to each long edge. The horse image has been coloured with Stampin' Blends, a few combinations and a little lifting off of colour, see the supplies list below for what I went with.
I've stamped the word Birthday in Soft Suede onto Tranquil Tide cardstock and diecut the word Happy from Copper Foil, then adhered just the bottom half to my greeting strip. Copper Trim has been adhered to the back of the strip and stretched gently and raised with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The horse looks great stamped on the timber DSP. Love the strips of copper foil against the green as well.
