#CTC343 CASE an Animal Card

CASE an Animal Card from either catalogue

I've chosen the card on the right on page 86 of the Annual Catalogue:

As you can see I've switched the orientation to portrait to better suit the chosen image and I did CASE an animal card but changed out the characters.

My base card is Petal Pink and the top mat is the same colour. I've stamped the image from Beautiful Moments in Early Espresso ink onto the top mat and coloured with Stampin' Dimensionals.

A frame has been cut from Pansy Petals DSP using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered over the image. The greeting is diecut in Basic White and Highland Heather with the Birthday Chick Dies and adhered slightly offset then popped into place beside a Baker's Twine bow.

To finish I've added some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels as I didn't have the little flowers used in the CASE card.

I love the movement portrayed in this image.

We would like to see you CASE an animal card and post your picture to our Facebook page using the link over on the right.

Meanwhile - please continue on the hop to see what Judy has created for us this week:

#CTC268 CASE the Colours of Ornate Garden

Only one week for this challenge, so if you are keen to play with these colours - be sure to join the crew before next Sunday evening - just use the link over on the right and these colours:
Early Espresso, Bumblebee (huh? yes, a new in-colour but you can substitute another yellow), Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Terracotta Tile, Whisper White & Gold

I've decided to use the main images from Beautiful Moments to make a set of cards which I hope to send out when we are able to move from Level 4 lockdown - (sorry, I couldn't justify my mailing as 'essential' at this time). A set of cards used two sheets of thick A4 and a sheet of Early Espresso for the backing mats.

I've cut the card width ways so when scored in half it opens top to bottom not side to side. I added one of the greetings from Beautiful Moments. To make it easier I used the Stamparatus - brilliant when doing more than one and/or with a fine font like this. My fourth piece of card was cut into three and stamped with Early Espresso ink and each of the images. I used the thick Whisper White cardstock so that it didn't react as much to being wet as my colouring was done with an aqua painter. After finishing I trimmed and matted each image then adhered to the base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

This is #simplestamping big time - stamps, ink and paper!

Beautiful Moments is the stamp set designed by Jacque Williams for achieving $1million in sales, it was inspired by her family and her view of Rangitoto Island. Fabulous set and I hope this gives my customers who have purchased it some more ideas. Time now to drool over Rachel's gorgeous set of cards:
