#CTC293 CASE a Card from Pg 36 of the Mini Catalogue

CASE a card from Page 36 of the Mini Catalogue:

I've chosen the card in the middle of the picture. Onto a base of Blackberry Bliss cardstock, I've added a full size front using a Gold and White piece of Ornate Garden Specialty DSP.

Next I've swiped the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing folder with a Blackberry Bliss ink pad on the flat side. I've cut a banner from the same Blackberry Bliss cardstock with the help of the Banner Triple Punch and run it through the embossing machine. I found it gave good depth and really made the little flowers pop.

I've used a greeting from Happiest of Birthdays stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink onto Whisper White cardstock. I happened to still have some (retired) Gold Metallic Thread which I've looped around a few times and added to the back of the greeting before adhering in place.

The Daisy Lane stamps haven't seen action for a while and I used it to make my main feature, with 3 large daisies and 3 medium daisies inked with Blackberry Bliss onto Whisper White cardstock and punched with the matching Daisy and Medium Daisy punches. I've stuck all the layers together and popped it into place using Stampin' Dimensionals.

A dreary Canterbury day doesn't make it easy to make the gold shine, but let's try this:

I've even given this one a little bit of inside love:

It's fun to see the same cards with so many twists. Please continue on the hop to visit Lauren and her cute butterflies:

  1. I love the extra depth of the inked embossed panel. Aren't the daisies just lovely!

  2. The blackberry bliss panel that has been inked and embossed looks amazing. The colour pairs nicely with the gold in the background DSP and the gold thread ties it all together. Lovely card.

  3. So elegant and refined! The colours and gold touches really make your card luxurious and glorious. Love this! And I love the layered daisies too!!

  4. Ooo the inking and embossing gives that panel amazing depth. That's beautiful. I really love the way the Blackberry Bliss looks with the gold. Gorgeous creation.
