The crew are headed to pages 34-37 of the 2019 Occasions Catalogue:
I guess the card I mainly CASEd would be the one on the middle right, although I have taken a little from a couple of the others as well. My colour was inspired by the butterflies.
I broke out my Stamparatus to have a go at wreath stamping and was so pleased with the result I had to use it for this week's challenge. The image is from Tea Together, coloured with Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.
I worked from there for the rest of my card, the base is Thick Whisper White with a full top layer of Daffodil Delight. I then took the same colour from the Gingham Gala DSP and after studying the sample above, I grabbed my Granny Apple Green marker and added lines to the DSP to create a totally new pattern. (Seems I'm not the only crew member with that lightbulb moment this week). The coloured image had the greeting from Floral Frames added with Black Memento Ink and was framed with a mat of Highland Heather. Stampin' Dimensionals attached to the back and a length of Black/Silver Striped Metallic Ribbon. This became my bling as well, so as not to detract from the colouring too much, and it helped tie in the black ink I stamped with.
I've used the Fine Tip Glue pen to add dimension to the centre of the flowers, and leaves.
