#CTC200 - Toil and Trouble

Wow, a bit special - the 200th CASEing the Catty blog hop this week! It takes us to the Toil and Trouble section of the Holiday Catalogue - pages 48-55.

Not being in the habit of celebrating Halloween had me struggling a little with this section and in the end I decided to change my usual style and have CASEd the colours of this section. So I guess my inspiration comes from this picture on page 51.

I've seen a lot of creations using Wishing You Well of late and recently got to have a play with this set, although I don't actually own it (yet!).  This is a Distinktive stamp meaning it can "create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth and intensity". I think the star in this would have to be the gorgeous bow.  It was pretty easy to create this card and you could whip up a batch in no time for a cute gift.

I've used a base of thick Whisper White. The image has been stamped in Granny Apple Green for the foliage, then I've used Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape for the flowers (stamped twice) and bow, then alternated them on the next card. The top mat is Granny Apple Green, and the lower mat is Gorgeous Grape. I used the simple little greeting - "just a note", but all the greetings are very usable.

Feel free to play along and add your photo to our Facebook page with the link on the right.  Head on over now to see what the lovely creation Liz from Queensland has for us - super cute!
