That's right - Week 2 of CASEing the Koala Sketch on page 34:
Or if you prefer a sketch graphic:
I decided to go with a shaker card this week. Using the Country Club DSP, I cut away three stitched Rectangles. I added Foam Adhesive strips to the edge of the DSP and filled it with Golf Club dies shapes - tees, clubs and balls. I had a couple of stamped golf balls in my stash and threw those in as well then added a spoonful of Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I then added a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock to keep everything in place then added it to my thick Whisper White cardbase. The greeting is from the Clubhouse stamp set and has been mounted on a scrap of Daffodil Delight cardstock before sticking it down.
Suitable for either a man or a lady golfer in your life!
You can find another shaker card version with this suite on page 46 of your catalogue.
I looked at the stitched rectangles sitting on my work surface and decided to make another card from it. I've added all three panels to a Whisper White mat and adhered to a base of Poppy Parade cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals. The greeting from Floral Essence was a leftover from another project, and I mounted it to Daffodil Delight cardstock then adhered in place.
Next I've added a couple of Silver Foil Golf Club dies and a tiny golf ball.
On the inside a simple Clubhouse image stamped with Black Memento ink:

Oh my dad's going to love a golf shaker card!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to turn the panels on the sketch into a shaker card. I love the clubs, tees and balls as the “confetti”.
ReplyDeleteLove your fabulous shaker card, Sandra. Clever interpretation of the sketch.
ReplyDeleteFabulous shaker card Sandra, it’s such a great way to interpret the sketch. I love that you’ve made a second card from the panels you’ve die cut.
ReplyDeleteGreat to get "2 for the price of 1", both are fabulous masculine cards.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love the two cards out of one idea too! Very clever, and they coordinate perfectly too! So much fun with golf bits in the shaker card - a very clever idea!!
