#CTC438 CASE All About Autumn

CASE the All About Autumn section of the Mini Catalogue - Pages 42-47:

I've chosen the card in the centre of the picture above.

I've used a panel of Joy of Christmas DSP and added a panel of Mossy Meadow cardstock embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. Next I've stamped the greeting from Little Monkey with Early Espresso ink onto Basic White cardstock and diecut it using the Meadow Dies. The ribbon has been replaced with a piece of Linen Thread. The little monkeys are punched with the Little Monkey Builder Punch. The faces were stamped with Early Espresso ink onto Petal Pink cardstock and the face and ears punched using the same Litle Monkey Builder Punch.

A few of the (retired) Polished Dots have been used to finish.

I've rejoined the work force if you wondered where I've been. My voluntary position turned into an opportunity for part-time employment and I found it easier to step back while I found a bit of a balance. I'm not saying I'm there yet, but I'm trying. Crafting is my happy place and I had some new purchases calling me, so I hope my little monkeys make you smile.

Next up we're off to see what Monique has to share:

#CTC383 - CASE Artistic Expression Section

CASE the Artisic Expression Section of the Annual Catalogue - Pages 90 - 119:

I was drawn to the card in the centre of the picture on Page 103:

I white heat embossed the floral image from Quiet Meadow onto Vellum then fussy cut it out.

A scrap of Sun Prints DSP caught my eye and I chose that instead of the stamped piece in the CASE card, I cut a full size panel of Gray Granite and layered a strip of Parakeet Party cardstock and the Sun Print DSP strip onto it. I adhered the embossed foliage to the left hand edge and added the panel to a base of Night of Navy cardstock. The greeting is from Peaceful Moments, stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Petal Pink cardstock before trimming and adhering in place. To finish I've used some Polished Dots.

This would be an easy card to replicate in many different colour combinations.

What catches your eye in the Artistic Expression section of the Annual Catalogue? CASE a card and post a photo on our Facebook page before next Sunday evening for us to enjoy - you can use the link over on the right if you need to.

Next on the hop we have our friend Tina and her lovely vibrant card:

#CTC366 Farewell Annual Catalogue

Our last week to Farewell the Annual Catalogue:

Lest We Forget! ANZAC Day tomorrow was the inspiration for my card and I turned to the Painted Poppies for some ideas. Page 25 and the tag top left:

I started by making a tag with Real Red cardstock and punched the top with the (retired) Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Using Memento Black ink I've stamped the tall poppy from Painted Poppies a few times. I then threaded two pieces of Crinkled Whisper White Seam Binding and tied it off with another piece. The Basic White layer has been Clear heat embossed with the open poppy from Painted Poppies. I added this panel to a Real Red mat and attached to a base card of Basic Black.

I've attached the tag with Stampin' Dimensionals and added some Polished Dots. The greeting is diecut in Basic Black and Basic White using the Amazing Thanks Dies and adhered to the tag..

Red, Black and White are always a winning colour combination. So pleased to see the Painted Poppies will reappear in the new catalogue.

Sorry you have to look close to see the clear embossing but I like the subtleness.

We hope you can join us this week as we Farewell the Annual Catalogue. Pop a photo of your creation on our Facebook page using the link over on the right.

Next on the hop we have Michelle and her stunning masculine card using products I am sad to see go:
