#CTC280 CASE Aug-Dec Catalogue Cover

CASEing the cover of the August - December Mini Catalogue:

I've chosen the snowflake card top right.

Using a base of thick Whisper White cardstock, I've randomly stamped the small squares image from Tasteful Touches using Balmy Blue ink in place of the colour washed original.

Next I've diecut a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock with a Stitched Nested Labels die to form a similar frame to the one above and adhered it to the base.

I've diecut a swirly star shape with Stitched Stars dies out of the new Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper. I've also stamped some stars from So Many Stars in Balmy Blue ink onto Whisper White card and diecut them along with some Balmy Blue cardstock stars. I've stuck all the diecut stars down and added a greeting from So Many Stars, again using the same Balmy Blue ink and Whisper White cardstock, with Stampin' Dimensionals to add it to the card.

Thanks for stopping by. We hope you'll find some time to play along with the challenge this week. Post your card to our Facebook page using the link over on the right. Next on the hop we have Tina and I can't wait to see what she has created this week:

#CTC256 Annual Catalogue Layout with a Holiday Twist

Take any layout from the Annual Catalogue and give it a Holiday Twist:

Image may contain: text

For me, it was the photo on page 116.

I CASE'd the butterfly card with a base of Night of Navy, a layer of Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP, and the top layer of Seaside Spray had Stitched Stars die cut then the piece was embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder as per the CASEd card. After adhering the embossed piece, the diecut stars were stuck back in place. I chose a greeting from So Many Stars stamped in Night of Navy and added using Stampin' Dimensionals opting to leave out the twine.

I carried on and CASEd the card on the left with a base of Night of Navy, two flourishes cut from Seaside Spray using Stitched Stars dies and attached to the base. I've stamped some stars onto Whisper White card using Night of Navy ink and coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. I've added some tiny stars stamped in Daffodil Delight, with another greeting from So Many Stars in Night of Navy. To bring in a little colour I've matted my stamped piece with Daffodil Delight and popped it onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals again omitting the bow.

A closer view of the cute Stitched Stars dies:

Thanks for stopping by - check back soon if you would like to see what I presented when I attended the Stampin' Up local Onstage event in Perth, WA! Maybe by Tuesday, I'll have that sorted.. Meanwhile, please continue on the hop to see what our lovely Rose has created this week:

#CTC251 - CASE Brightly Gleaming DSP with Layout from Pg 30

This week the crew are CASEing a layout from pg 30 of the Holiday Catalogue:

No photo description available.

I have chosen the card on the bottom left of the picture above

Starting with a base of thick Very Vanilla, then adding a full height, wide strip of Noble Peacock Specialty DSP, turned 90 degrees to display it so the stripes represented the horizontal lines on the original. I've added a layer of vellum which was embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.

Next I've stamped an image from So Many Stars in Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray onto Very Vanilla, They were diecut with a matching sized Stitched Stars die and adhered to the vellum with a line drawn to the top by hand. The Sprig punch was used to  cut some Noble Peacock foil sheets (in Pretty Peacock) and it was cut at the half way mark then adhered along the top of the vellum. Some Stitched Shapes stars from the flourish image have been added as bling. The greeting was from Itty Bitty Christmas stamped in Pretty Peacock and cut using a Layering Circles die.

Thanks for stopping by. Time now to pop over to the fabulous Rose and her amazing project. Please feel you can play along, all you need is to create a card with the brief mentioned, add your hastag #CTC251 and post to our Facebook page with the link over to the right.
