#CTC248 - CASE Annual Catalogue using Holiday Catalogue Supplies

Choose any project from the Annual Catalogue and CASE it using supplies from the Holiday Catalogue:
No photo description available.

I've chosen the card on the bottom right of page 15:

Onto a base of Garden Green cardstock, I've added a mat of Crumb Cake. I've cut a 6" x 4" piece of Toile Tidiings DSP into 1" wide strips and screwed them up, then opened them and sponged each with Crumb Cake ink. They are then adhered onto the Crumb Cake mat. Using Daffodil Delight I've diecut stars from the Stitched Stars Dies and placed them where the CASEd card had used leaves. I opted to omit the ribbon as I had enough texture going on for what I wanted.

The greeting is from the Hostess set "Greatest Part of Christmas" and inked in Garden Green ink with a strip of Daffodil Delight for the word Christmas. This was attached to a crumpled piece of vellum and all adhered over the top of the stars.

We hope you'll play along with the crew and post your photo onto our Facebook page using the link over on the right by next Sunday evening.  Time now to hop over and check out Shannon's super cute Snowmen:

  1. Great card, I always a bit envious of people that can crumple DSP - I can't bring myself to do it. But it looks amazing. Like a scene that has been recreated from old memories. Love it

    1. Thanks - it does look like old memories and that's why I didn't have a problem crumbling as it gave it an aged look. Easy when you spritz with water. Go on, try it - you may find you enjoy it lol

  2. I am so not brave enough either to do this to DSP! It looks amazing, though. I love how you've done it and your choice of the stars in DD.
